Great video, I'm newish to owning a motorcycle and working on them and even when reading the manual I felt some stuff was going over my head but this made the process so easy even for someone that is used to working on cars and not bikes

You're going to kill yourself you are a terrible rider in your speeding like crazy. You never take a bike for a ride without checking the oil and air in the tires you're all over the road.

The motor does not sound right I bet you it's low on oil.

The idol is way too low and you don't want to put unleaded gas in it because it's a lower octane.

I got mine in 2020 after it had been garage stored for 14 years. I tell you what, they have more rip than you'd think for a 750 over 40 years old...

the should sell carb kits with only the parts that wear out. the jets can be cleaned and do not really need to be replaced.... i think

I just installed my new lift support to the lift gate. My neighbor helped me. About 5 min. and working. I also had my side doors that started having electrical issues. I tried many solutions, fuses, power reset with battery. Nothing improved. After the new lifts were installed I went and powered up the doors and tried the passenger side, it worked, then driver side window that has stopped working. It worked. Driver side door opened properly. It tried to shut but would not latch, which was the original problem I started with. Huge improvement tonight. TU for your video.

My eyes started bleeding at 0:45. A cheap nut socket, an angle grinder and five minutes of work will save this locknut, and possibly your time & money.

I did this job without taking the deck off and it took 2-3 hours and took a toll on my forearms and hands lol

Hey. Great videos! I’ve always watched your channel and I am a proud owner of a 1997 magna as well. I ran into the same problem with my bike recently after flooding the engine. I let it sit a while and tried to start her up with now luck. Turns out, when I un-chocked her she fired right up. Worth a shot

To change the speedometer gear out, do you have to pull the front axle off or can you remove the gear box just with unscrewing screws?

I rode for decades, since the 1960’s, at 75yo my stress relief is our 2023 C8 HTC Corvette. It is very fast, comfortable, and the best vehicle I have ever driven or rode. I do sometimes miss my many motorcycles even though one almost killed me riding up in Wisconsin, not my fault.

The only downer of the sabre were the shite camshafts. I went through two factory paid replacements but it didn't make any difference. Aside from that, was an awesome standard.

I picked up a 86 vt700c at the beginning of this year to learn to ride on. Took it out twice before I started looking for a faster bike. Found a 82 Kawasaki kz650 cafe racer and it handles the abuse much better. I still have put 600 miles on it but it’s definitely meant to cruise and if you’ve owned fast cars a 14 sec bike doesn’t hold you’re interest for long.

I had a 1983 V-45 Sabre . Loved it. I wish Honda would bring back The magna or Sabre in the 800 or 1300 V-4 engines. That’s what they did back then. Not into the parallel twin Rebel 500 or 1100.

Oh this was THE bike to have back then! Unfortunately, I was in the military and couldn’t afford one! 😂

a lot of guys wrecked these bikes they were pretty powerful and under braked.

My trunk has messed up in alignment... could it be hydraulic issue or something else? Any suggestions? Also where could we buy these new hydraulic power lift gate

Friend do you still have the Yamaha 750? I'm learning a lot from your videos and now I'm trying to figure out where to install the side stand. Someone gave me this bike for free, but it's hard to find pictures of the exact place I need to install it because I just cannot see it. It has a center stand but it's pretty much unusable because the bike has to be lifted high up with a jack. Could you help me with a picture or something?

You have a lot more patience then I have. Had to replace my fuel line going to petcock on Nighthawk because my fuel line was cracked. Had to use flexible hose. Could have used one of those T-connectors but straight. What are they called and where did you get them? I couldn’t find anything like that but would have helped.

The key code is under the gas cap, I believe .
